Our Practice

Dr. Steven H. Kantor, O.D.

Dr. Kantor has been in private practice in Arizona since 1980. Though the majority of the practice is general eye examinations, Dr. Kantor is always available to discuss your special individual eye care needs.

Along with general optometry, Dr. Kantor has a special interest in Dry Eye evaluations, computer eyestrain diagnosis, and contact lenses. He is committed to quality care and provides a verbal detailed summary to each patient at the conclusion of the examination. He succeeds in helping his patents understand all of the vision options available to them. We feel that the friendly atmosphere we have here in our office starts with the caring commitment of the doctor and we are sure that you will agree it is evident with Dr. Kantor.

He is a member of the American and Arizona Optometric Associations. In addition to his general optometry license, he is licensed to use all diagnostic and ocular therapeutic pharmaceutical agents in order to give the most comprehensive eye examination possible. We are sure that you will find your visit with Dr. Kantor one of the most pleasant eye or medical examinations that you have ever had. Come in and experience the difference.

A. James Frank, III, O.D.

Dr. Frank has been in Arizona since 1982. He partnered with Dr. Kantor in 1991, and they recently merged in 2003.

Dr. Frank performs general eye examinations for children, teens, adults, and seniors. He has recently become certified CRT (using special contact lenses to re-shape the cornea-outer surface of the eye). This allows those candidates to sleep in their lenses overnight, remove them in the morning, and be glasses and contacts free for the remainder of the day. Then the "retainer lens" is put back on in the evening at bedtime, and the process starts over again. If you have any interest in this non-surgical refractive procedure, make an appointment to see Dr. Frank for an eye examination and CRT consultation.

Dr. Frank is also licensed to perform all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to treat eye diseases such as: Conjunctivitis ("Pink Eye"), Glaucoma, Eyelid inflammation or disease (Blepharitis), Iritis, Eye Allergies, Eye or Corneal abrasions, and Dry Eye.

With his background in pathology, he can answer your questions about cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye.

Dr. Frank is a member of the Arizona and American Optometric Associations since 1982.

Feel free to call either of our doctors about any questions that you may have regarding your eyes or eye care. If they cannot speak to you at the initial call, they will call you back within 24 hours.

While the main focus of her practice is primary eye care, she has special interests in children's examinations, contact lenses including the new corneal refractive therapy procedure (CRT), and dry eye evaluations.
